Dictionary.com is exactly what its name implies with some added features. Tapping the application, reveals an address bar to type in a word. If the word is spelled incorrectly, several choices appear. The definition is given along with a sound bar to hear the correct pronunciation. Dictionary.com also includes a thesaurus providing synonyms for each word. The "Word of the Day" feature provides a new word each day to add to your vocabulary. This is an easy to use reference tool for the classroom.

This dictionary doesn't work very well if you have trouble spelling, the choices are awful (as well as the advertisements).
There is a voice search for those who have trouble spelling. The app is available without advertisements in HD for $4.99.
